Our commitment

At Jade Montaigne, we create pieces that celebrate femininity, confidence, and style. But we also believe that fashion should take care of those who make it, as well as the world we live in.

Our ambition is to continuously improve our way of working to reduce our environmental impact and strengthen our social and ethical commitments.

We are committed to:

  • choosing more responsible materials;
  • improving the traceability of our supply chain;
  • gradually reducing our environmental footprint;
  • strengthening our requirements regarding human rights and working conditions;
  • measuring our progress and communicating transparently about our advancements and the challenges we still face.

Sustainability is a continuous journey for us. We don't have all the answers today, but we are committed to learning, progressing, and evolving Jade Mercier year after year.

Review of 2025, heading for 2026

The year 2025 was dedicated to consolidating the foundations of our responsibility approach.

We have enhanced the transparency of our supply chain through more precise methodologies, better data collection, and the integration of new digital tools. These developments allow us to obtain a more reliable view of each product and better understand its impact, from design to end-of-life.

We also expanded our monitoring of remuneration data and began comparing it to recognized decent wage benchmarks. Simultaneously, we strengthened our human rights approach through new risk assessments and the development of a dedicated roadmap for preventing modern slavery.

On the environmental front, we began to establish baseline data regarding our carbon emissions, waste, raw materials, and water consumption. These foundations will enable us to set more precise reduction targets in the coming years.

Our social commitment also remains central to our approach. In particular, we continue to support initiatives for women's empowerment and community action.

In 2026

Our goal is now to transform these foundations into concrete results.

We will continue to strengthen our collaboration with our partners and suppliers, improve the quality of our data, and address our main environmental challenges, including:

  • carbon emissions across our entire value chain;
  • water consumption and management;
  • management of substances and chemicals;
  • selection of more responsible materials;
  • better visibility across our entire supply chain.

Challenges that remain to be addressed

CO₂ & biodiversity

Reducing our environmental impact is a complex challenge, especially when it concerns our entire value chain.

A large part of our impact lies beyond our direct activities: in the production of raw materials, manufacturing, transport, and distribution of our products. Accurately measuring these impacts heavily depends on data provided by our partners, and traceability becomes more difficult as we go further up the supply chain.

Traceability of raw materials remains a major challenge. Better knowledge of their origin is essential to more accurately assess our impact on ecosystems, land use, water consumption, and biodiversity.

Transport and logistics also represent a significant part of our carbon footprint. As an international brand, our products circulate between different countries and regions. Finding less emission-intensive logistics solutions, while maintaining the quality of our service, remains a challenge that we wish to continue to address.

For us, improving visibility across our supply chain is therefore an essential step towards more responsible fashion.

Our approach

An evolving strategy

In 2025, Jade Montaigne evolved its approach by gradually shifting from a global company vision to a more product-centric approach.

Why is this important?

Better transparency at the product level allows us to understand its impact more precisely at each stage: material selection, manufacturing, transport, and end-of-life.

This approach helps us make more informed decisions and better reflect the reality of how our pieces are conceived and produced.

To support this evolution, we have strengthened our tools and monitoring systems through:

  • a platform dedicated to supplier engagement and supply chain traceability;
  • the development of digital product passports, to improve transparency and prepare for future regulatory changes;
  • new technological tools to track and analyze our carbon emissions across our entire value chain;
  • progressive alignment with international standards for reporting and human rights.

In 2025, we thus evolved our initial objectives towards a more structured and ambitious framework.

This new beginning means that some indicators are starting from new baselines. This is not a step backward, but a desire to build a clearer, more rigorous, and more measurable approach.

Our ambition is simple: to have reliable data, concrete objectives, and clearly defined accountability to measure our progress with ever-increasing precision and transparency.

A message from our founder

"When we created Jade Montaigne, our vision was simple: to imagine bold, sensual, and deeply feminine pieces.

As we grew, we also became aware of the responsibility that comes with our work. Our creativity must evolve alongside our commitment, and our demands on ourselves must match the impact we wish to have.

In 2025, we focused on the foundations of our approach: strengthening the traceability of our supply chain, improving the transparency of our data, developing new monitoring tools, and deepening our commitment to fairer working conditions.

We also continued our support for initiatives that work towards equality and women's empowerment.

We know that there is still a long way to go. But we believe that more responsible fashion is built step by step, with transparency, ambition, and a constant desire to do better.

This is the commitment we are making for the future of Jade Montaigne."
